On August 20, MN Revival partnered with Eagle Brook Music for an unforgettable worship night in Maple Grove. More than 500 people gathered to lift up the name of Jesus, worship together, and hear the hope of the Gospel.
Every attendee had the opportunity to place their faith in Jesus, receive prayer, and take a next step in their relationship with God. Eagle Brook Music led a powerful set that pointed hearts toward Christ, while Pits to Purpose answered faith questions and provided free books and Bible resources. MN Revival gave away every free Bible and resource available, and—with the help of our supporters—Evergreen Coffee served more than 150 free coffees throughout the evening.
It was a beautiful night of joy, tears, repentance, connection, and worship. We are deeply thankful for every person who came, served, partnered, prayed, and made this night possible.
The future looks bright—and we believe God is only getting started.
Mark Warder shared a timely message for anyone carrying the weight of their past or the worry of their future.
Maybe your past has tried to define you. Perhaps it is something someone said or did to you, a relationship that fell apart, a mistake you made, a lie, a loss, or a decision you wish you could take back.
Or maybe it is the future that has consumed you. The unanswered questions. The pressures. The things you cannot control.
But God did not create us to live trapped by yesterday or afraid of tomorrow.
God Gives Us What We Need for Today
In Exodus 16, the people of Israel had been rescued from slavery in Egypt. They had seen miracles. They had watched the Red Sea part. They had seen God provide again and again.
Yet, in the wilderness, they began to worry and complain.
God responded by giving them manna—bread from heaven. Every morning, they were instructed to gather only enough for that day.
Not enough for a month. Not enough for a year. Enough for today.
When they tried to save it for later, it spoiled. Why? God was not only feeding them; He was teaching them to trust Him daily.
Every morning, Israel had a choice: “Will I trust God again today?”
That is still the question before us.
You do not need grace for next Tuesday today. You need grace for today.
You do not need strength for every problem that may come tomorrow. You need strength for the situation in front of you right now.
And when tomorrow comes, God will still be there.
Bring Your Past and Future to God
Jesus taught His followers to pray, “Give us today our daily bread” (Matthew 6:11).
He did not teach us to ask for monthly bread or yearly bread. He taught us to depend on God today.
Jesus Himself regularly went away to pray. In the middle of miracles, ministry, crowds, and pressure, He made time to be with His Father.
That is an invitation for us too.
Everything that impacts you from your past, and everything that consumes you about your future, needs to be brought to the side of the mountain—to the place of prayer.
God wants more than to give us things. He wants us to know Him. He wants us to return to Him each day and say, “God, I need You today.”
Yesterday’s encounter with God matters. Celebrate it. Tell the story. Remember His faithfulness.
But yesterday’s manna was never meant to replace today’s encounter with God.
The Mountainside Challenge
Start simple. This is not a checklist to earn God’s love. It is a daily rhythm of dependence.
One worship song: before the world tells you who you are, worship God for who He is.
One chapter of Scripture: open the Bible and receive today’s bread.
One verse in a journal: write one thing God is showing you—one verse, one thought, one prayer.
Then do it again tomorrow.
Spiritual growth often does not happen through one massive moment. It happens one day at a time: one prayer, one chapter, one act of obedience, one piece of manna at a time.
You may not feel dramatically different after one worship song, one chapter, or one journal entry. But keep coming back. Over time, you may look back and realize that God changed your life one faithful day at a time.
Jesus Is the Bread of Life
The manna in Exodus was never the final answer. It kept people alive for another day, but they needed more every morning.
Then Jesus came and declared, “I am the bread of life” (John 6:35).
The manna was pointing to Him.
Our greatest need is not simply relief from stress, exhaustion, or uncertainty. Our greatest need is salvation. We have all sinned and fallen short of God’s holiness. We cannot earn our way back to Him. We cannot work hard enough to erase our sin.
But God loves us.
Jesus lived the perfect life we could never live. He died on the cross for our sins. Three days later, He rose from the grave.
The Gospel is not, “Try harder. Be better. Get your life together.”
The Gospel is this: Jesus has done what you could never do.
You do not have to clean yourself up before coming to Him. You simply come.
Maybe you have been living on yesterday’s manna. Maybe you have drifted, grown spiritually dry, or never truly surrendered your life to Jesus.
Today can be a new day.
There is grace for today.
There is mercy for today.
There is bread for today.
And there is salvation available today.
If you are ready to trust Jesus, pray from your heart:
“Jesus, I need You. I recognize that I have sinned and gone my own way. I believe that You died on the cross for my sins and rose again from the grave. Today, I put my trust in You. Forgive me, make me new, and lead my life. Be my Savior and my Lord. I choose to follow You one day at a time. Thank You for loving me and saving me. In Jesus’ name, amen.”
If you prayed that sincerely, today is a new day.
MN Revival, we are expectant for what God will continue to do in Maple Grove, across Minnesota, and through every life that says yes to Jesus.
